Good stories create an optimal framework for new, more self-responsible forms of management that set people free. They pave the way for trust-based relationships and create fertile ground for new healthy organizational habits.
I draw on knowledge and experience gained as a Danish pioneer for the delivery of home nursing and home care in small self-organizing teams based on the Buurtzorg model. In a pilot project, which I co-founded and where I had the role as CEO, we quickly achieved significantly better quality of delivery and higher employee satisfaction by giving freedom and responsibility to all employees.
Previously, I have worked as a communications advisor, process facilitator and systemic coach for a large number of organizations and companies and as a business journalist for, among others, the magazine and think tank Monday Morning.
I own Direction Books, where I have translated and published in Danish two of the most important books on new, more self-responsible forms of organization, Frederic Laloux's Reinventing Organizations and Brian Robertson's Holacracy.
